According to the unbelievable amount of filth on my hands when I got home last night, it happened. Memory also says yep.
Kicking in the window was so easy (and so obvious)! It was actually suggested to me by a guy on the train, who first tried with me to yank the door open. He and his pals stepped back, and one firm kick put the window pane out of the rubber stripping and onto the train floor, in one piece. Then I just climbed in.
